Kuala Lumpur, 2 Aug: The Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia (ABIM) Wednesday [2 August] called on the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to use Article 8 under the Rome Statute to drag Israel to the International Criminal Court (ICC). ABIM International Vice-President Azril Mohd Amin said under the provision, actions could be taken against Israel including stopping its war crimes and pulling out its army from the region. Fears LGBTs will be left out of ASEAN rights declaration

[NOTE] The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) heads of government have formally adopted the first ever ASEAN Human Rights Declaration (AHRD) at the ASEAN Summit in  Phnom Penh on Nov 18.
